Meet The Coaches

Allie Krieger

A proud alum of North Daviess, Allie Krieger returns back to Odon, to take charge of the Cougar harriers.  Krieger formerly (Shafer) was a standout runner for the Cougars in her time racing in the orange and black.  Krieger still holds some All Time Records at North Daviess from her prep career.  After graduating, Krieger went on to run at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.  Allie was a three time All American, the GLVC Runner of the Year in Cross Country and Track and Field, and left her mark on the record books having broke numerous school records and course records throughout her career.  Krieger, is a Nurse Practitioner by profession and enjoys spending time with her children, running, and tending to the families horse and sheep.




Miles Krieger

Over the last twenty years, Miles Krieger has coached running at nearly every level possible from the Cougar Running Club Kindergartners, to post collegiate athletes pursuing their dreams and standards.  After graduating high school, Krieger ran at the University of Southern Indiana, where he earned All Conference honors on the track.  After completing his eligibility, Miles went to coach collegiately for nine years with stops at Franklin College, The University of Southern Indiana, and Southeast Missouri State University.  After coaching collegiately, the Krieger's have relocated back to Daviess County.  Most recently, Krieger has been coaching at Barr Reeve High School, where he lead the boys team to their first ever state cross country appearance as a team in 2016.  In route to state, the Viking harriers captured the Sectional, and Regional titles.  Additionally, Krieger mentored Natalie Graber a two time Indiana All Star and Indiana All State selection.
